An App That Makes Your Phone's Fingerprint Scanner a 10in1 Functional Button

If you've been using your fingerprint scanner as, well, just a button to unlock your phone then you can now use it more often for other functions too. You can download "Fingerprint Quick Action", a free app on Google Playstore that remaps your scanner to work as an additional button while still serving as a fingerprint scanner when the phone is locked.

You can use it as a sleep button, to go back or as a home button. It can show recent apps so that you can clean up some space. Use it to show power menu, to toggle split screen, expand notification bar, toggle notifications bar, expand quick settings and launch app or shortcuts.

I find this boosting my productivity as I use it to clean up some junk and expand notification bar. With the phones becoming larger these days, its a hassle to pull down the bar with the same hand while holding the phone. I still think there are a few other functions they can add, one of them is a camera shutter button. That'll be great to take selfies. Perhaps they push that update soon and make it available for iOS too since it's for android only at the moment.
