I REFURBISHED AN IPOD 5th generation to be fitted with a MICRO SD card. Now the iPod is super lightweight and holds 230GB!!

once upon a time, my ipod classics headphone jack wore out. this inspired me to do what i have always wanted to do, for the past few years.
i have wanted to downgrade my ipod to the 5th generation because the audio codec is way better.
i was able to source a 5th gen ipod off ebay, and follow online instuctions to perform some ipod surgury successfully!!

i ordered a special piece from the hnited kingdom. an adapter to replace the hard drive with a micro sd card. i can fit 4 micro sd cards in it. the adapter was about $40.

now im rocking out with all my songs (over 19,000) and they sound way better and the ipod battery lasts longer because there are no moving parts inside and i can keep collecting music (up to 50,000). you need the 80gb 5th gen because the ram in that one can hold metadata for 50k somgs. the 30gb one can only hold 20k.

cheers you guys i hope you are having a rad summer
