I am Muskan Singh, and I am excited to share our innovative project, Heart-Box❤️, developed by my amazing team, The Encipher. Our mission is to improve cardiac care with a compact, efficient, and cost-effective solution.
About Heart-Box:
Heart-Box is a cutting-edge device designed to easily capture ECG waveforms and provide insightful health data. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in India (29%), so our goal is to improve early detection and access to heart health monitoring.
Our Team:
The Encipher is a dedicated team of innovators from ADGIPS, consisting of Aqsa Parveen, Imran Abbas, Jayan Gupta, and myself. We are passionate about merging technology with healthcare to create impactful solutions.
Problem Statement:
Heart disease remains a major health problem in India, with low detection rates. There is an urgent need for comprehensive and cost-effective ECG testing to improve heart health.
Our Solution:
The Heart-Box is a compact, portable device that captures ECG waveforms using three modules and delivers easily interpretable results. By leveraging machine learning, it predicts the likelihood of cardiac diseases, making it both convenient and cost-efficient.
Key Features of the Heart-Box:
- Real-time ECG monitoring: Use the AD8232 ECG sensor module to capture accurate ECG data.
- SpO2 and pulse detection: Measure heart rhythm and oxygen saturation with the MAX 30102 pulse oximeter sensor.
- ML optimization: Predict the likelihood of cardiac disease using advanced machine learning algorithms.
- User-friendly interface: Convert complex ECG graphs into simplified language for easy understanding.
- Portability and mobility: A compact design ensures ease of use and transportation.
Integrated Tech-Stack:
Hardware: AD8232 ECG sensor module, Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, I2C OLED display, MAX 30102 pulse oximeter sensor.
Software: Python for data processing and analysis.
