Not Real, But Real Enough...

Some of my pastimes include, gaming, anime, comics and reading in general.

To get deep into any of these hobbies, would mean to be immersed into another world.
It might not be to escape your own reality, but to see someones else reality.

The things we learn and identify with, teaches us a great deal life skill. Emotional maturity, Patience, Empathy, Appreciation of beauty. It can be an avoidance, an escape. It can teach us violence , indoctrination, but mostly it teaches us choice, and to be aware of the choices, to take our time.

If you don't do the tutorial in the game, you might start playing at a disadvantage - basically learning the hard way.
If you read all the manga before it gets adapted to an anime, you know the story and will know if it holds true, also there wont be any surprises, good or bad.

If you watch on going anime - you grow with the characters - well not Pokemon as Ash doesn't grow up, but Erin, Bakuman , Hikaru no Go and Naruto/Boruto. The lessons they seem to learn are lessons you learn with them.

Comics, from DC, Darkhorse, Marvel all the way to Dandy and Beano, always show characters from their mind sets, set an a world that will make no sense in our realities, but we accept the physics and that universes limitations or exceptions. we learn to accept other realities. Its amazing how we are able to fathom and follow these.

All of these has a great impact on people and who they are. It influences us, and guides us in some ways. all of theses may not be real, but they are certainly real enough.

until next time....
