I'm so excited to share Steem Camera 1.0 (Beta) is ready to be used for Beta Testing. I'm happy to welcome everyone to be part of this project!

What is Steem Camera 1.0?

Steem Camera 1.0 is an application to help Steem bloggers add Steem signature on their photo upon posting. It serves as a tool/application for photo editing.

Bear in mind, this application doesn't run on Steem Blockchain but act as a support application for bloggers on their posts.

Problem Statement

The initial idea was a spark of a small problem I noted when Steemians posts photos without the Steem signature such as Steem logo. The idea was to promote awareness of Steem blockchain through the photo posted on any of the Steem platforms. Thus, the problem identified was the Steem signature wasn't included on the photos.

On the other hand, this led to another problem where there are quite number of Steemians who can't use photo editing software probably due to no prior knowledge of photo editing or lack of resources.

In addition, another third problem identified was the unavailability of Open Source photo editing application specifically for Steem blogging.

Objective

Steem Camera 1.0 aims to solve the three problems identified above. Hence, once solved will help spread awareness of Steem blockchain through blogs.

Steem Camera 1.0 will provide two major contribution:

Open Source
Easy to use

This will help spread awareness of Steem Blockchain and contribute to mass adoption of Steem blockchain.

Functions

The major function of Steem Camera 1.0 is to enable users to edit/take photo and immediately add Steem signature. At the moment, there are only 30 Steem signature (Pre-set) in the library only for the purpose of Beta testing.

Features

Features available in Steem Camera 1.0 will be very basic. The purpose of the basic features is to ensure that it will Not bother the time for posting blogs. Hence, the aim is to make the application simple and easy to use for users.

Signature Library

At the moment, only 30 Steem related signatures are Pre-included in this Beta application. The purpose of this is just for beta testing. All 30 signature can be seen in the library section of the application.

Availability

At the moment, this application will only cater for Android users. Note that the link has been uploaded on to the Android Playstore. This is the link to download:
