In a leadership camp for a group of people.
After plenty of series of talks and a presentation by speakers and facilitators. As any normal training for future leaders of any organization, they will have to do some presentation about topics chosen by the speakers or facilitators.
At the end of the session, a facilitator share his story to all the participants. He began his story, " In an organisation called BODY having series of meeting to elect a leader, everyone attended the meeting, the member consists of the hands, legs, the brain, the heart and all body parts that existed in the Body.
"So they begin the first meeting, it was a heated discussion, the HEART try to promote herself on become the leader of the BODY because she is the reason why the BODY is alive by pumping blood into the whole body. Then, came the LUNGS saying if it is not them,the body can't have oxygen. This argument not end on the first meeting. Everyone gone back and do their job as good as ever just to proof that they are capable of become a leader.
"The second meeting, despite resolving the old issue new challengers came. The BRAIN came up and said that he is the one who send all the signals so that everyone can functioning well. The BONES associates with SKULL argued that they are protecting and supporting all of them especially the BRAIN. As usual, the meeting ended without any leader has been selected and all gone back to work as hard as they can to show off their capabilities.
"The arguements continue to the next meeting, with new challenges and debates. However, amidst the chaotic and heated meetings there is only one part of the body is never participants in the debates and self promoting, the ASS HOLE, he will just sit there, listen and watch. After each meeting, he will just do nothing. Never work on his function as a channel to throw the waste.
"On the fifth meeting, everyone starts feeling uneasy because the waste was not discharged. They become weak but still try to win the post.
"On the sixth meeting, the Brain announce that the Ass Hole is not doing his work. But, the meeting still goes on but less debates and cut shortly because all feeling uneasy and something wrong. However, no conclusion achieve on that meeting too.
"Finally, on the seventh meeting, everyone without any hestation or argument, straight away all bow to Ass Hole and they said, you are the leader please do your work. Hence, the leader was elected and it is the Ass Hole, after that, the newly elected leader functioning again. Everything went back to normal. The end"
Then, the facililitator asked the audiences "So dear future leader, as for your final task, what is the moral of the story here? I give you 5 minutes to discuss and give me answer"
So, they all gathered and dicussed together, each one contributes their thoughts and opinions. Exactly five minutes, the facilitator asked them, the participants with unison voice they all said "We are all contribute to an organisation and there is no need to be greedy to be leader, we must be united and appreciate each other."
"Wrong!" the facilitator said. The participants shocked and whispering amongst them with curiousity on their face and one of them asked "So what is the moral of the story then?"
The facilitator heard it and replied "The moral of the story is ANY ASSHOLE CAN BE A LEADER"
