Giving and taking life

Hi guys, im just sharing a story i just heard from a friend. It is about a local girl 18 years of age, has just given birth to a healthy baby girl. The saddest part of the story, she drowned the baby in a pond behind her house. Her actioned really stunned me and i keep on asking myself, how she can blind her heart and feelings to give and take away life just like that. The point of my story is i have a special 15 year old girl, she is suffering from Cerebral Palsy (CP).

The most priceless and precious person in my life, my daughter Jazmine Belle. Every parents wishes for a healthy baby or child. As for me, we learned to accept that there are certain things that is beyond our control and only than we can be strong to face the challengers in life. We have given her a life the best we can.

In Sabah, there is no center that specializes in CP. There is only a voluntarily center in Likas, which handle a mixture of all type of special cases like down syndrome, CP, hyperactive child and etc but in Kuala Lumpur there is centers just handles CP cases. These are the down side about Sabah, the welfare of this special childrens are not taken care of. How i wish, there is something can be done, to further improve the situation here.

Defination of Cerebral Palsy (CP)

While Cerebral Palsy (pronounced seh-ree-brel pawl-zee) is blanket term commonly referred to as 'CP' and described by loss or impairment of motor function. Cerebral Palsy is actually caused bybrain damage. The brain damge is caused by brain injury or abnormal development of the brain that occurs while a child's brain is still developing-before birth, during birth or immediately after birth.

Cerebral Palsy affects body movement, muscle control, muscle coordination, muscle tone, reflex, posture and balance. It can also impact fine motor skills, gross motor skills and oral motor functioning.

P/s: We need to appreciate and value life but sometimes we need to reminded, how precious life is.
