We had a huge craving for pizza, pasta and wine..... And when that happend its great to have grandpa and grandma to take over the kids and give us the change to give in to the italian cravings.
The restaurant we choose was HAPPY ITALY in Rotterdam. The nearest to the cinema we would go after.
The restaurant looks like a loft and the inventory i love. The lamps are, but the lightis The place is for 400 people, and near the cinema its always busy, and there is no possibility to make a reservation, so we decided to go there after the moties. That way we would avoind the cue in line time. Because of the great food and attractive prices, and the place where they are situaties there is always a cue on the street
The pizza’s are amazone and you can see the chef pizza making them in the open source kitchen. The menu has alot of variaties and offcourse also pasta and dolce.I had a pizza Nutella as dessert just to try, and i can say it was dissapointing, i will have the cheesecake next time!
The service is very efficiënt and quick, again when you want a quick bite before going nextdoor to Pathé cinema. The prices are not to bad and the menu is big. 34 pizza’s and 16 pasta’s well that choice if you ask me. I dont think its a restaurant to sit and dine all night, the woorden chairs look great but after an hour its enough. And its loud, the ceiling is very high so the noice is there, and they have a kids corner play land, and the fun and laughter is disturbing if you want to dine romanticly.
Again the prices are good. You can even take the leftovers with you in a special bag.
The great mural in chalk are just art, i loved it .....
We had a lovely date night and had good food, so when you want a quickie go there.
