In Spain it’s typical to eat “tapas”, a small portion of food that you can find in almost all the bars and restaurants.
There is a bar/restaurant near my place that I really like to eat tapas. It's call “Le Petit Paris” and it's located in the neighborhood “Eixample”, in Barcelona. It’s small but beautiful and cozy.
There you can eat “tapas” and also main dishes and different desserts.
For me, the most special dish from this place are the “patatas bárbaras”.
In Spain a traditional meal is “patatas bravas”(the literal translation is "Spicy potatoes" but usually they are not spicy), and in this place they serve these potatoes but also with “chistorra” (similar to “chorizo”) so they have a very special taste:
You can also find salads, warm and cold sandwiches and a lot of tapas as “jamón serrano (serrano ham)”, cheese, “croquetas (croquettes)” of ham, chicken, cheese, vegetables... or “tortilla de patatas (potatoes omelet) only of potatoes or also with vegetables.
And also different desserts as cheesecake, chocolate cakes, carrot cake or cookies, I really like them.
