28 short tales in 28 days. #23 The rebellion of the bees.

In the honeycomb the bees prepared for the strike, they were tired of being workers, now they want the end of the monarchy and the establishment of republican democracy.

That same morning the small workers stopped the activities: "No more honey," "Down with the monarchy." "United bees will never be defeated." The leading bee rose and exclaimed to her colleagues: "Sisters worker bees, today is the great day, today tyranny and slavery ends, freedom and democracy will be our destiny, we are more than them.

The queen bee was arrested and brought to trial before the popular court, in the afternoon the verdict was ready: Capital Penalty. In the night the sentence was consumed, the queen was hung before the eyes of her ex-subjects.

The next morning the leader of the bees in a public speech announces new elections soon, but before you have to organize the honeycomb again, he proclaimed himself interim president while committing to organize the first elections. On the other hand he organized the Armed Forces, constituted by a small army of very well-armed Wasps that were available to the leader. This army of wasps was responsible for disappearing the other bees that supported the rebellion, to silence any criticism of the leader and to resume the productive activities of honey, double shift every day.

A week after the bee rebellion, nobody remembered the promise of new elections. The leader is the new queen bee.
