Today I talk about the following place in my trip on the French Atlantic coast: Anglet (I have already made a post about it but I think it deserves to be remembered and illustrated with more photos and comments)
Tourist village, chosen by thousands of people every year to visit its long beaches and enjoy its good atmosphere, good weather, good gastronomy ....
A town with a complete offer for tourism, with all kinds of services, with rich areas that remind us of the before mentioned Biarritz, but which undoubtedly develops much of its life around the sea: beaches and surfing make it a destination for all the public.
I recommend to visit the beaches (there are 11), the best known and popular, Playa Sables de Or (maybe the most important, urban, surrounded by restaurants, shops ..., next to the Chambre de Amour, (a cave where the legend says that a couple were hidden and that they died dragged by the sea), a cave located next to the sea, also with restaurants, surf schools ... .Playa Cavaliers ...
I remember I have eaten in Sables de Or , there are expensive restaurants offering fish , others with fast food..but for me the best ,a restaurant with marinated tuna with coconut milk and for dessert crep with nutella ... really uncredible!!!!
For those who like to do sports: running, walking ... there is a great coast walk (4.5 kilometers, passing all the beaches) where you disconnect from the noise and the city. There are also many paths to walk through the forest, as in all of this area of France, people use them a lot on bikes and also walking.
For people traveling by motorhome, it has 2 areas, the most known and large is the Area of Los Corsarios (GPS coordinates: latitude 43 ° 30 '26 "- longitude -1 ° 32' 3") with capacity for 80 motorhomes .
For people who go to hotel the offer is very wide and for those who go camping there is also a municipal camping.
If you are looking to practice other sports: beach volleyball, golf ... everyone is well received although what is more known is surfing with numerous schools.
You can also enjoy the night since it is a meeting place of many young people and if not, it is next to Biarritz where you can complete with a great offer of activities too.
As I say 100% recommendable, I have always visited it in September or before the summer avoiding a little overcrowding.

Hoy voy a hablar del siguiente lugar en mi viaje por la costa atlántica francesa : Anglet ( ya he hecho un post sobre él pero creo que merece que lo recordemos e ilustre con mas fotos y comentarios)
Pueblo turístico, elegido por miles de personas cada año para visitar sus largas playas y disfrutar de su buen ambiente, buen tiempo, buena gastronomia....
Un pueblo con una completa oferta para el turismo, con todo tipo de servicios, con zonas señoriales que nos recuerdan al citado Biarritz, pero que sin duda desarrolla gran parte de su vida en torno al mar: playas y surf lo hacen un destino para todos los públicos.
Destacamos entre los lugares a visitar las playas ( hay 11), la más conocida y popular, Playa Sables de Or ( la mas concurrida , urbana,rodeada de un paseo lleno de restaurantes , tiendas..., al lado la Chambre De amour, (una cueva donde dice la leyenda que a escondidas se citaban una pareja y que murieron arrastrados por el mar) , cueva situada al lado del mar, también con oferta de locales como restaurantes, escuelas de surf...Playa de la barre...Playa Cavaliers...
Recuerdo lo bien que siempre he comido en restaurantes de Sables de Or,mucha oferta de pescado en los restaurantes mas caros , comida rápida..pero lo mejor un restaurante con atún marinado con leche de coco y de postre crep con nutella...que rico!!!!
Para los que les guste hacer deporte: correr, caminar... hay un gran paseo litoral (4,5 kilómetros, pasando todas las playas)donde desconectar del ruido y la ciudad. También hay muchas sendas para caminar por el bosque, como en toda esta zona de Francia, la gente las usa mucho en bici y también caminando.
Para la gente que viaja en autocaravana, cuenta con 2 áreas, la mas conocida y grande es el Area de Los Corsarios (Coordenadas GPS :latitud 43° 30' 26" - longitud -1° 32' 3") con capacidad para 80 autocaravanas.
Para la gente que va a hotel la oferta es muy amplia y para quien va a camping también hay un camping municipal.
Si buscáis practicar otros deportes :volley playa, golf...todo el mundo es bien acogido aunque lo que mas se conoce es el surf con numerosas escuelas .
Mucha vida por la noche para salir dado que es un lugar de reunión de mucha gente joven y sino, está al lado de Biarritz donde podéis completar con una gran oferta de actividades también.
Como suelo decir recomendable 100% ,yo siempre lo he visitado en septiembre o antes del verano evitando un poco la masificación de gente.
