Firstly, sorry for the long absence from posting but with the current COVID19 situation work kinda took over leaving me little time to myself and for you. I guess with the global lack of sporting action this has not left too much missed info for you all. That is now about to change!!! Supercross is coming back!
Feld Entertainment, the company that run the Monster Energy Supercross series have announced that the 2020 Championship will resume on May 31st at the Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. The series will run through to June 21st totalling seven tv only races to conclude the 2020 season.
The Supercross Race Format for Final Seven Rounds is as follows:
450SX Class
40 Riders based on current point standings and 2020 top 100 number or combined season qualifying results.
250SX Class
40 Riders based on current point standings and 2020 top 100 number or combined season qualifying results.
Two qualifying sessions will be held for gate pick.
250SX Class
Two Heat Races and a Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ).
450SX Class
Two Heat Races and a Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ).
250SX Class
Main Event.
