Let's Explore the World Superbike Championship by @raceoff - WSBK 2018 Premiere

Hello Steemers , welcome to raceoff .
World Superbike Championship 2018 starts at 24 February with the Phillip Island Grand Prix , in Australia.

Many of you are addicts with motor racing as i am some of you may not , so allow me to clear some things about the WSBK.

Some of you may be wonder
What's the difference between WSBK and MotoGP ?

1.The WSBK motorcycles championship are tuned versions of motorcycles in production for sale to the public and not like the Motogp where they build new special models just for been used in th championship.

WSBK Bikes are slower than Motogp but just a little bit.

Motogp Pole at Jerez 2017 1.38.249 by Dani Pedrosa

2.World Superbike consists of 13 Double Races for further competition . In RACE 1 the riders start as they Qualified but in RACE 2 they start with Reversed Grid meaning that the 1st in Race 1 starts 10th the 2nd 9th etc. the 10th in Race1 First the 9th 2nd etc.

Now let's explore the New Season

WSBK 2018 Season Changes

New season with two new Races at Czech Republic and Argentina !!!
Czech Republic Grand Prix at Masaryk Circuit will replace the German Grand Prix at Lausitz EuroSpeedway.
Argentina Grand Prix at Villicum Circuit will replace the second Spannish Grand Prix in 2017 in Jerez.

Also we will see two new riders coming from Motogp ,the Colombian Yonny Hernández and French Loris Baz .

Nothing else has really change from 2017 to 2018 and i expect to see the same Teams will fighting again for Drivers and Manufacturers Titles .

Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK Jonathan Rea - Tom Sykes

Aruba.it Racing – Ducati Chaz Davies - Marco Melandri

Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team Alex Lowes - Michael van der Mark

We will have exciting races but i think the drivers championship is a fight for two....
Jonathan Rea the 3 consecutive times WSBK Champion is the grand favourite for the 2018 Title as it seems untouchable, even from his teammate and 2013 WSBK Champion Tom Sykes who seems unable to catch him.

The only rider who can challenge Rea is Chaz Davies if he can stay calm and avoid silly falls , he can become a serious threat for the title.
