the rooftop terrace of our house is a great place to see the setting sun. in the winter it sets over a 4 story building which was built illegally too close to the beach. sunsets over the building can be interesting in their own way and i have posted some in previous sunthursday contests.when the sun is furthest north it is most often too cloudy due to the monsoon. but in between in february it sets over our coconut trees in the back garden. the scene is set for some tropical romance but it is up to the viewer to take advantage of the opportunity.
it's a dry time of year. the only precipitation is a rare thunder storm so it is fairly often we get clear skies and a view like this.
