Sunrise on Ullswater

A stupid o'clock start to catch sunrise on Ullswater.

Ullswater is one of very few lakes where the sun will rise on the low horizon and will be viewable across the lake at certain times of the year. The majority of the other lakes and tarns the sun has to clear the surrounding fells and so it's well past sunrise before it becomes visible therefore eliminating any chance of a decent sunrise across the water. This was one of the last chances to catch an Ullswater sunrise this summer before the rising sun heads south east as the seasons change.
