A waif in Bangla Desh is somebody "for whom the road (in the widest sense of the
word, as well as unoccupied dwellings, wasteland, etc.) has become his or her habitual abode and/or supply of
livelihood; and United Nations agency is inadequately protected, supervised, or directed by accountable adults”.
In cities many people live indensely populated slums.They sleep in huts or out of the stteets.Rural migrants flee abjects proverty inthe country side in the hope of finding a bettet life in urbans areas.Families and community often are separated; living an increasing number of children to grow up alone and in proverty.
In the capital Dhaka alone an estimated of 190000 between the ages of five to fourteen live on the streets.Organization Dhaka ahsania Mission gives these children food,clothe treatment, education etc.
