IYALODE EFUNSETAN ANIWURA

Once upon a time in a small village called Egba Oke-Ona in the city of Ibadan oyo state.
There is a very powerful woman called EFUNSETAN ANIWURA, she is from a polygamous family, her father’s name was ogunrin and he had two wives but none of them are able to give him a child, one lucky day Ogunrin meet a trader and he proposed to her as God would have his way she gave birth to a female, ogunrin was very happy because he thought the god’s were angry at him, his mother too was happy and she gave her the name returning all gratitude to obatala because she appeal obatala to give her a child.
Ogunrin is very powerful warrior who has won so many battles for Ibadan and oyo sate as a whole and his wife too was a successful trader, she was well known in her village and gave her power over every other woman in the village.

During this period of efunsetan’s birth, there was a war going (ogun owu) on which lasted for 7 years, during this period efunsetan saw so many strange thing that made her very strong because her mother was carrying her out to trade during the war.

Efunsetan grew to be a very powerful woman with tribal mark, she was very strong and taking charge in everything she does, she is always the best at whatever she does.

Efunsetan’s mother grew old and was ill and died, soon her father died, she was left alone and had n other choice than to continue her mother’s business. She relocated to to promote her trading business.

Efunsetan married different husbands because she was not fruitful in her marriage, she meet a warrior in Ibadan and she later had a female child for him, soon her husband died so she decided to stay permantely in Ibadan.

After the death of her husband she started a slave business which really brought her true self out, she lost her child and wasn’t able to give birth to any again. She later then transferred all the pains of her losing the lonely child had one her slave and other villagers in the community.

Efunsetan grew to be very powerful and very popular person in oyo state as a whole and other neighboring villages, kings and chiefs come to pay homage to her because of our powerful she was, she kept killing all her slaves that fell in love.

But one faithful day, one of her slave got pregnant and she had to kill take her life and by so doing the king and the chief of the village took the matter up and told her to leave Ibadan, instead of doing that she picked up a fight, but the god’s weren’t in her support this time, she was captured and was beheaded.
All her slaves weren’t happy because they had no other way of feeding their self and in the other way round they were very happy because they have been free from the bondage of the monster.

My view about Efunsetan
She was beautiful, rich, audacious, proud, daring, someone who could not be crossed, fearsome but the death of her child and been unable to have another made her very wicked and she said because of that, any of her slaves that get pregnant will literally deliver their babies in hell and all her slaves must not fall in love.
Because of how powerful and rich she is, made her proud, she thinks nobody can question her and that brought to her downfall.

I remain your humble and loyal boy ShUnGuYsTiN
