Live Your Life Without Restraint

Your heart as a wrecking ball. I bet you've been told that story. You are oversensitive, selfish, inconsiderate. You live in your own head. You don't take other's pain into consideration when timing your truths. You just live your life without restraint except you live it in restraints because you are always being told no, unacceptable, never when it comes to who you are or what you do unless it is holding up a mirror magicked to reflect only what the viewer wants to see.

Your heart, that wrecking ball, one day crashes that mirror into one thousand sharpened shards. Each reflects only truth. For a long while, you look at yourself and see the costume you were sewn into unstitch itself. You discover wings where there was only pain. You open them and feel your heart lose its heaviness. You see its darkness drop away. You see it sparkle and you think something more like star than wrecker so you take a leap, live life on your own timeline, refuse to be stitched back down.

It requires tears, this transformation. It requires anger. It requires a strength to hold yourself above it all, to let it drop away, to know that the good will come back for you if it is truly good, and what you leave behind is sickness.

Good for you. Fly.
