Life of a Neophyte Supervisor

I've been working in a BPO industry for almost 4 years now. It is a roller-coaster ride.

It helps me a lot with my financial needs since this career is my bread and butter. It is my source of living to provide to the needs and wants of my family since I am the bread winner.

I am the only child and my parents are both senior citizen thus I provide for everything - shelter, food and health insurance. But I am happy I am able to give back to my parents for all the years of hardwork and sacrifices just for me to graduate from college.

It gives an opportunity to gain friends - a LOT of friends. It helps you grow as an individual, someone who understands people and value their effort and hardwork.

First, I treated them as my subordinates.
Second, they became my friends.
Now, they are my family.

It gives you self-confidence and self-esteem since you get to know more people, their lives and experiences.

Most of the time, it allows you to be stressed over and over and over and over again but it helps you endure and overcome challenges in return.

I would say, its not an easy job but if you love your craft - you will survive.
