STORY TITLE: Everything Works For Good

This is a true life story of a man named Mr Jephtah Nwokolobia. Mr Jephtah Nwokolobia is a married man with 3 children. He got married to his lovely wife Mrs Precious Nwokolobia on the 2nd of March, 2002.

Mr Jephtah lives in Lagos Nigeria, in Ebute-Metta with his wife and 3 kids. He is a graduate of the University of Ibadan in Oyo state, Nigeria where he studied Geology.

Mr Jephtah is a Christian who has been hoping to get a better job and a better life for his family. He lived in a 2 room apartment at Ebute-Metta and was hoping to move to a 3 bedroom flat within the neighbourhood.

Mr Jephtah heard a message in his church about faith and how to make your faith work. Since he has been hoping for a better life, be decided to test his faith and put it to work. He wanted a better apartment for himself and hi is family. He went on a search for a 3 bedroom flat around the neighbourhood and found one he loved so much that he was really interested in.

Now he had found something he wanted and was hoping to make his faith work in getting that apartment. The apartment was so beautiful and he wished to have himself and his family reside in the apartment. He decided to put it in prayers and told his pastor about it also. His pastor prayed for him and he believed that the apartment will be his.

After 2 good months of waiting and hoping, the money for the apartment and other necessary things to move to the new apartment wasn't forth coming. It looked as if things were getting worse. This time Mr Jephtah was so disappointed and began to think about his life. He questioned alot of things. He questioned if God exists. He felt so bad and began to loose faith in God.

On the 11th of October, 2012 there was a very terrible and sad news in the neighbourhood. There was a lot of chaos and different television stations were around to cover the scene. The wonderful and lovely house he prayed about had collapsed with 8 people dead and 7 people seriously injured. Mr Jephtah saw this scene and was full of tears.

He questioned God and felt God didn't exist just some months ago because of this particular house he so wanted to get. Now this house is gone. The house didn't just go, but took some lives, properties and rendered alot of people who survived almost useless.

Now with tears in his eyes, he repented and asked God to have mercy on him. He would have been the person in the picture. He would have lost his life or the life of one of his kids, or even the whole family. He would have lost his properties. He was so thankful for not having the money to get that house at that particular time he needed it.
