The events following the duel with Snoke are unclear in Vader's head. The Emperor tries to convince him that Boba Fett delivered him to the star destroyer after escaping from the battlefield. Vader can easily see through this obvious lie, he won't blindly obey whatever the Emperor says because he is sure that that is not his master. But he needs to know what had happened.
A few rotations ago on Crait's endless white salty deserts. Boba Fett lands his ship a short distance away from Snoke fighting an onslaught of rebel soldiers desperately trying to murder him. The bounty hunter rushes out of his ship to grab Vader's unconscious body. This is one of the few things he remembers happening. After that just as he Boba pulls him in he falls unconscious again.
Snoke finishes off the dozens of rebel soldiers and the shuttle supporting them turns around and blasts off into the atmosphere before he is able to crush it with force. Then he turns around looking straight at Boba Fett who looks back and starts rushing to get in. Snoke then starts his slow walk towards him. An enemy who walks slowly is far more terrifying than one that chases you. There is no way of escape. Then Snoke throws his lightsaber right at Boba decapitating him instantly.
He walks to Boba's corpse and smirks, not with his face, in his mind. He walks to Vader which he had dropped in a hopeless effort to save himself. He takes Vader and places him on his shoulder and carries him to his ship, The Rogue Shadow. Vader becomes conscious again, just for a second. But now he remembers, Snoke brought him to safety, he saved him. But why?
After his unsuccessful attempt to convince Vader in his cover story Palptine's replacement droid departs and heads over to the throne room, not his throne room, the Supreme Leader's throne room. Snoke very much likes the title of "supreme leader" as that was the highest position in his ancient Sith home world from which he was banished many millenia ago.
He walks to the massive raised stone carved throne which is a new addition to this star destroyer ever since Snoke's was destroyed. Palpatine bot walks over still pretending to be him. He bows to his master and creator. Snoke enjoys Palpatine bowing to him even tho it unfortunately isn't the real one.
As the bot rises again Snoke jumps off and walks over to him. His old body is hard to move when not using his suit. He comes face to face with him and the bot's digital camouflage drops revealing his robotic face. Then Snoke moves out of the way and the bot starts projecting all the information it has gathered from Vader and other parties. But Snoke is tired of ruling from the shadows, it will soon be time to assert himself as the supreme and only leader of the Galactic Empire...
