The home of Sir Tristan, one of the King Arthur's round table knights, the Lyonesse is a country located near Cornwall although the exact location is never known. This place is also the place where King Arthur fought for the last time. Legend has it that Lyonesse sank beneath the sea. This legend may have its origins from the history of the floods in the Isles of Scilly and Mount's Bay, and today we can still see fossils from ancient forests.
