BONDFIRE
In 2016, we as group of musicians in Kota Kinabalu came together to write and produce a Christmas album where 100 percent of the profit made out of selling the album went straight to Jireh Home, Tuaran. We sold about 300 pieces of album with the price of RM10.00 each. With the profit, we bought household item, dry food and goody bags for the children in January 2017.
This year, we wanted to do the same and making it better by bringing in more artists and producers into our team. A total of 10 songs are ready to be made into an album. All songs are original written by each artist and recorded at selected studios.
The aim of this project is to help the needy with the power of marketing and music. We also want to showcase the local talents we have here in Sabah that is still quite unknown to all Sabahan. This year, instead of selling just the album, we wish to sell t-shirts as merchandise from the Christmas album. We would also like to do a showcase where 100 percent profits from the selling of tickets will also be added to the collection for the charity.
The target for this year is a thousand piece of albums and a thousand piece of t-shirts so we can help more than one needy homes around Sabah.
We hope we can achieve our target and make the children happy.
