It sure it's beautiful! I've seen a lot of inky caps, but I'm still fascinated by the way they melt to spread their spores.
My other guess, apart from Coprinus plicatilis (now Parasola plicatilis), would be Coprinopsis cinerea.
But you're right, for sure it's some sort of Coprinoid mushroom.
