STAND UP NOW!!! Too much sitting is bad for you

In recent times, specifically the twenty first century. Humans have begun to shed their original makeup and engineering as wanderers and active people to a lazy and inactive generation.
Everything is being done for us, by either science or something else. This new disease has really eaten into our genetic make-up, in the sense that humans now find walking or simply standing a great torture and hard work.

During a seminar that i attended, a professional doctor in the field of physical fitness and mental and physical health, placed a packet of cigarette, a bottle of alcohol, an hamburger, and French fries on a wooden chair. And he asked us among all these things he placed in front of us which of them is most harmful to our health.
So voices were raised and a lot of people made their choices on the most dangerous substance to our health. I on my part was pretty sure it will be the cigarette but then the doctor said we were all wrong, that it was the chair. I was truly baffled.

He made us understand that sitting for too long can cause Major health complications to our body.

SITTING TOO LONG CAN SURPRISIGNLY CAUSE THE BREAK DOWN OF SOME OF OUR ORGANS

THE HEART
we all know it pumps blood and kind of keeps us alive. When we sit down blood flow slower and muscles burn less fat which kind of makes it easier for our heart to be blocked by fatty acids. Also it has been proved my researchers that a woman who sits for more than ten hours in a day has a greater chance of having heart diseases than those who sits for just five hours.

THE PANCREAS
When a person sits for too long even for just a day your body's ability to respond to insulin is affected, which leads your pancreas to produce increased amounts of insulin, and this often leads to diabetes.

Excessive sitting also increases the risk of various types of cancers;

Breast cancer
Colon Cancer
Lung cancer etc.

It also causes leg disorder and back problems.
The following dangers above is a good enough reason why excessive sitting by us should be reduced.

Of course we can't just stop sitting down, but we should increase the rate at which we stand and walk. We should exercise more and mostly do more squats and not just 10 squats but 20 and more to make the legs and spine alert.

NB: Regular exercise with excessive sitting won't help you at all.
