Wow !! even copper as plentiful as it seems to be in the earth, takes a hell of a lot of labour ,resources and energy to get it out of the ground and into something useful.
No wonder they stoped making copper pennies and coins.
The earliest know metal that started us humans on the metallurgy path...

Be sure to check your pennies as you will probably triple your value soon, keep that copper wire and piping,
Not as cool as silver and gold mind you but, ill be damed if i pass up on some cheap/free copper these days
Kind of sad tho about the amount of pollution and waist involved in mining and smelting it, another reason we dont want to waist it...
