Have a gander at this crispy little pancake filler

The second coin in the Beatrix Potter collection is the 2016 Jemima Puddleduck silver proof 50p. Same as the original Peter Rabbit it has a mintage of 16,000 and weighs 8g of .925 silver

At the time i thought it was me that was puddled buying this coin, it doesn't fit into anything i collect and to be honest i bought it for the wrong reason expecting it to follow on from the success of the rabbit and sell for massive amounts of money. Its been 12 months now and the coin has just started to appreciate and is doing quite well commanding about 3x the original release price, which is nice and i can see in 12 months time it selling for considerably more, especially if the Beatrix Potter series continues for a 3rd series. The circulated version is now difficult to find in your change as this image is now the lowest minted of all the Beatrix Potter coins.
