A Safe Haven for STEEM and SBD
We are all a little bummed about the drop in STEEM ($0.42 USD) and SBD ($0.83 USD) value, but Steem Monsters has offered a safe haven to preserve value. All Steem Monster transactions are measured in USD which keeps the values from doing the rollercoaster thing. Many of the cards have actually increased in value while STEEM and SBD deflate!

What is Steem Monsters?
It's a fully decentralized, digital collectible trading card game built on the Steem blockchain. The cards are non-fungible digital assets, like crypto currency, except each card is unique and has a particular value determined by demand and scarcity. There are the valuable "alpha" cards and the current "beta" cards. These cards can be used to battle with other players for prizes.

What are these cards worth?
When you acquire a new booster pack, you have five new cards to add to your collection. What are these cards worth? The cards are usually worth between $0.05 USD and $0.60 USD with some worth $1 up to $20.00 or more. But there are also GOLD cards that are worth between $2 USD and $900.00 (yes, literally hundreds of dollars).
