Shadows (original poetry) [day #53]

Shadows

Morning runs to dusk
Promise on shadow tomorrow back
Live shadow in the dark
It looks nothing
The dream of the poignant beggar

Shadows have swallowed bitterness
Like the President's promise that never came
The nation's children have been blind to heart
lost direction of the foot
The nation's children have been blind
lost soul direction
Shadow of soot
In the corner of an old old house

When will we build our own house?
It does not depend on the shadow anymore
Or we are in bonsai not to big
To die
Shadows have been written
We become maids at home
