Whispering Trees(#Day 64)

These are the tales of whimpering trees
Telling stories to that never existed
This is the voice of the gentle breeze
Whimpering hope before the forest dawn

Watch where you step, son
Not every log is strong
A crack will land you on wet grounds
Learn from this and live your life
-Not everyone that smiles is a friend
Not every opportunity is real
But learn to simmer them through the filter of truth

Watch your words, son
The leaves too, have ears
You can take back your actions
But not your words
So screen them before they are aired

Watch the clouds, son
Only from that will you know if it's going to rain
Watch the actions of men
Only then will you know what they truly are
A fig tree doesn't bear almonds right?
A fruit shows what a tree really is

Watch your anger, son
'Cause no matter how hot it may be
It can't heat a yam
So sit and tame your temper
Cool your anger
Don't say things when you are angry
Just take deep breaths and smile

Watch what you think, son
Because out from there comes your actions
Don't hide behind a false façade
Live a true life
Don't embroider your face with a smile
When your heart is laced with gloom
Abort the gloom -
And smile real
