Please Pray for Me {Poem}

Pray not for the struggles I face
Neither pray for the blessings I need,
Pray not for the dreams I aspire to reach
Or for any the good that I seek to have,
For non is good to me but glory,
And all things sufficient become far insufficient when Christ is met.

So when you raise your tongue and lift your heart to God for anything you wish of me,
Pray for me that I should only see His glory,
Then all the seas of trials shall sink beneath the Rock I stand,
And every trail of sin covered by every trace of blood He shed.

Pray for me that I may head for Calvary before getting to Sinai,
Pray that I should kiss His law with the lips of love,
And when the winds of affliction come I will Hold onto His glory as the earth to its orbit.

I will pray for you as well,
But if you would favor me with but a little petition,
Pray that I may trace his rainbow through the storm,
And when I’ve seen His glory,
Pray that I may remain in His glory.
