You are welcome to Day 1 of #SteemitSchool 100 days Poetry challenge by @d-pend. This is to be written in our mother tongue, and its really going to be challenging for me because its not easy to write in one's language. Most of my friends I told about this challenge had to back off.

niwovronvie kiyovniwhevn To be enslaved by your brother,
e'kwve rowotafe, dhe' Than an outsider, why.
beti niroro norgbe yovwin But I think none is better.
kuwomohu ki govement i fokofu akpowhve You blame the government for your problems,
kiwororo nu wohovron, And then claim you are independent,
whvo shifoma kaye You sell them your right,
roro naika lere erho'wovn yovnwhivn Hoping they will make things right.
