How has education changed since you were a child? Do teachers or schools do anything differently now than when you were young?
The education in my time.
In my time of study, there were not many luxuries, there were no computers, video was or acrylic slates, they were very humble times, where I only had certain books and a notebook, but the desire to excel was immense. The teachers were very qualified, but they had to work with few resources, only a blackboard and chalk, but they also made sure to teach us everything they could. They were very strict, their could was to inculcate respect, which sometimes turned into fear. There was a very distant relationship between teachers and students.
I had to do all the tasks by hand or with a typewriter. I had very good friends, and others not so much, to be honest by then bullying existed but had no such name, and no one gave importance, teachers only scolded and punished students equallyand small bumps on the hands with a wooden board and ready, nothing has happened . In spite of everything I do not change my time, it was healthy, we all held out our hands, and we could share and socialize more, because without so much technology we all had more interaction.
My daughter's study time.
My daughter is 27 years old today. His study time was different from mine, I'm talking about more than 25 years apart. Thanks to my efforts, she was able to have certain luxuries, such as a computer, a great variety of books and notebooks. Doing homework or jobs was much easier thanks to the internet, something that in my time was not used. The teachers were more related to their students and also to the representatives, there was better communication. They carried out academic and extra-academic activities whenever they could, my daughter had the opportunity to go on a field trip, and be a queen of the sport, representing her classmates before the state. In case of school conflicts, the teachers instead of giving small blows used mediation, so that the students could resolve their discomforts through communication, and if necessary they called the representatives to report what happened. Teachers had more resources and students too.
Nowadays.
At present, education continues to change, now it is more integrated with technology, there are even digital classes, everything is on the internet. They have the ability to perform more extracurricular activities and conferences. Within the same institutions there are campaigns for bullying, to save the planet or any other issue. Children are born more active, that is why education should give a turn that benefits students, to get more attention with different activities or projects, classes should stop being passive to become active.
Students are expected to know each other as individuals to know what their tastes or qualities are. It is no longer about following a routine, reading books and studying for an exam, education does not work that way anymore. It must be achieved that the student has a motivation to undertake and not be a demotivated worker, but someone who loves what he does.
