A very good teacher is a teacher who can change a subject into a very enjoyable experience. Basically children need more fun, freedom and new experiences in learning than the seriousness of learning in the classroom. By knowing child psychology, a teacher will allow his students to learn what they want, so that the teaching and learning atmosphere will be cool, fun, and without any boredom.
Well, based on the above statement, the author strongly agree that students should be allowed to learn whatever they like, because learning is not only in theoretical things, but more than that, that all forms of actions and willingnes of children are as the process of learning.
When children are given the freedom what they want to learn, they are unconsciously improving their thinking potential and building their creativity and productivity. Well, this is very useful for students because their lives will be colored with happiness and without pressure, so they can play while learning. The freedom that is meaned is the freedom within reasonable limits which is still in control of the teacher.
In this case, i am my selfe as a teacher agree with giving students the freedom to learn what they like and interest, because all students do not have the same character and they do not love the same subjects in the school.. Therefore the freedom that is given for them is as a form of educate them according to their own potential, there are those who like biology lessons so we must guide them in that direction so that one day they will become a biological scientists. And this is the purpose of learning, which is to educate students to the direction they want to achieve in their future.
