Introduction To Basic Geometric Shapes
Kids in grade 2 should know basic geometric shapes such as triangles, circles, squares and rectangles. We can use many examples from our daily lives to introduce basic shapes to our kids. For example; shoe boxes, dinner plates, cereal boxes, clocks and cookies can be used to teach about basic geometric shapes.
In this post you will find 4 worksheets on the concept. First one is on geometric shapes from our lives and matching their names. Next two are lessons on generic basic shapes and third one is a worksheet based on the lessons.
