HOW IMPORTANCE TO GIVE CHILDREN HOMEWORK

Am not a teacher but am a great believer of education so I will describe this question in three categories.
EXPERIENCE I HAD WHEN I WAS A STUDENT
The period I was at primary school teachers were giving us homework whenever we go home that could be one or two subject that helped us who liked sports to focus on doing homework with a view not getting punished, which helped many children repeat what they learn at school if they did not understand at school they get a enough time at home because they free to find answers by asking their elders or parent although it is a bad thing for a parent to do their children homework but it's a part of continuing to teach their children and to know his/her child's progress in learning and stand as a second teacher. Aim of homework is to keep children memory to remember what they learned also have the habit to love subject.HOME ENVIRONMENT
It is best for a parent to help their children homework rather than let them spend too much time on playing or watching a movies or TV and playing games that will make the child not to think about what she has read and think about going home to play what they loves, as African education a system that is not a friend for children to read. The way of giving children homework it increase their understanding and to love the lessons and practice perhaps teachers should give short note parents that they should not answer their children homework,homework assignments to their children help reduce the increase of children spending a lot of time playing.
CONCLUSION
Home work is a challenges quiz that give a children a better performance in their study so for me l think we should give children a homework.
