Great driving roads in Ireland 1st edition

What's your favourite driving road?

So this is just one of my favourite driving roads in Ireland. By the way I'm sure it's an amazing road for cycling on too if your into that type of thing 😁

It's Healy Pass, it starts out in Cork and runs through to Kerry, eventually you would end up in Kenmare.

The road twists and winds it's way through the pass of two mountains, with a small chapel at the top the views are just stunning.

The tarmac amazingly for Ireland is pretty good and smooth (not the usual crater filled road) and one section links 5 or 6 hair pins together creating a really nice stretch for a bit of fast driving (when it's empty of course). Off season month's are best for that.

You'll also often be greated by sheep that stare down at you from the rocky outcrops. Over all one of the best driving roads in Ireland.

Now I must take no credit for the pictures they were all taken off Google images but this is a road I've often traveled.
