They belong to the group of vertebrates, are characterized by feathers covering his entire body, have the ability to maintain body temperature regardless of the weather conditions that particular condition is called homeoterma, their capacity is higher than that of reptiles because they can fly, a characteristic that determines decisively their physiology and anatomy.

The birds along with mammals are the only animals with the ability to maintain a constant body temperature this has enabled them to conquer all the resources of the planet.

There is a great variety of species and are classified according to their species in :

  • First order consumer Hebivoros, carnivorous consumers of second order and third order. Within the first order we have Granivores feed on grains and seeds. Frugivores feed on fruits.
    The second order are insectivores these insects, larvae, worms.
    The higher-order are carnivorous, feeding on fish, small rodents and other birds ,the scavengers eat meat from dead animals and the omnivorous that eat of all .
