In order for this site to be more of a social site we need more features that help people to stand out and present themselves. Right now we have a name, a photo and a tagline. You can also put your website and location, but, beyond that, we are lacking a lot of personalization. Now, as I have mentioned, this site is still young and there will probably be lots of new features and advancements as we grow. So please, be patient.
So what things can we add on our profile page? I think we need stickers or emojis or something to make our pages unique, but that is another post. We can add a section so people can add photos and video. More than just the one for the profile pic. We can go the route of dating sites and have sections for hobbies and such. This might seem a little silly, but having interests clearly stated can help start a conversation. Oh, you like games, I like games as well, have you played _____. Yeah that is a little bit on the nose, but you get the idea. We can also add job and career, I do not like relationship status but I think a box that says you are single or would like to meet people might be a good idea. That way people can meet up if they like and do not have the responsibility of saying what they are in terms of relationship status .
We can also add design elements so people can make their own profile page. Think of it like an arts and crafts workshop and people can unlock new tools to use on their page to decorate it. Customization, for a lot of people, is a big deal. Look at Minecraft, people like to create and be unique.
