Starter pack for minnows

Welcome to the month of March

Happy new months guys. It's almost a month now since i joined steemit. So far its been awesome. For every journey there is always a starting point and a turning point I will be sharing some tips i believe would be useful for newbies (i'm a newbie too). What makes this platform awesome is the fact that steemians don't hoard information even your wallet is transparent for everyone to see.

Getting started on steemit

  1. Seventy percent (70%) of your posts should be about steemit: Instead of always making random posts, i recently discovered that great steemians always make more post about steemit ( I'm yet to apply this tip). You can organize contests winks, make posts about your observations on the steemit blockchain and give suggestions on how certains things should be done.

  2. Invest in the steem blockchain: Cryptocurrency is all about making investment and the steem blockchain should be treated as such. Don,t be in a haste to cashout everytime excepts it's unavoidable. I encourage you to invest some personal savings if you fully understand how steemit works.

  3. Upvote and comments: So, i now have a new rule. Which is * to upvote and comment on at least ten posts daily*. Find posts that are interesting and give your opinions on them, don't comment on posts you don't fully understand. This will help you connect with people easily and you might be lucky to get upvotes on your comments ( this isn't the main aim of commenting in the first place) and gain followers too. It's a common thing among minnows not wanting to upvote posts because they feel their votes won't count. Here is the thing, it might not be worth anything in $ but it builds the authors confidence that people are actually interested in his/her blog.

  4. Promote steemit: The moment your account was verified you became part of steemit and as such it's your duty to promote steemit. As a newbie you might not understand how the blockchain really works, but as soon as you do (started earning) i believe it has become your sole responsibility to tell your friends, family members, your foes and people who can benefit and contribute to the growth of steemit in general about how steemit is changing lives.

  5. Use of BOTS: It's no offense to use bots here on steemit. As a newbie this will help you a lot, because the bot will be your first friend you can always count on to upvote your post. At times the people who introduced you to steemit might not even remember to read or upvote your posts. The first bot i will recommend is the @minnosupport bot on the PALnet DISCORD SERVER. You can join their discord channel here
There are others bots like @Minnowbooster and @upmyvote. The good thing about these two bots is the fact they refund you if your bid for a vote didn't go through. Visit their page and see how much STEEM/SBD they require for an upvote. I want to believe you know how to send/transfer STEEM/SBD to someone already. There are other servers on DISCORD you can find helpful, click here a nice post by @as-i-see-it. There are so many possibilities with @minnowbooster, you can sell your vote, lease Steam Power or Delegate Steem Power to them. Check out their website Minnowbooster.net for more information on their services you can click here a very detailed post by @ilyastatar

once again happy new month, glad we all made it to the month of March and thanks for reading. resteem and upvoted always appreciated
