Youtuber caught stealing my Steemit article!

Unbelievable... I was checking out some SEO ranking on an article I wrote a while back and in one of the searches I did using part of the article title, I see a youtube video of a guy talking about a portfolio rebalancing tool.

Cool, I made one of those. Lets check yours out. Pop open the video and he starts the video with "I made this tool so I can do x,y,z...." ok, odd, that google sheet looks familiar.

I check the video description. He links the google sheet so people can make a copy. Hmm that's really odd, not only is this identical to mine (other than the cell fill color) he put his logo on the top of it and broke the CMC API lol!

So I stew for a minute think about how I want to solve this. There was obvious intent in the theft. I decide I'll just drop a comment on the youtube video.

I'm annoyed at this point because this is the first time someone has blatantly ripped off something I made, at least CoinMastery linked to my steemit when he used it, but regardless I figured I would give him time to respond before reporting the video.

At this point, I forget about the incident as I'm at work watching coinmarketcap - way to busy. A few hours later I open YouTube to check again and to my SURPRISE....

Huh, I suppose my comment was read.

Gunna chalk this one up to a victory for myself and Steemit.

My question to you is - what would you have done in my position? or Has this already happened to you?
