Muscle memory!

Did you ever asked yourself why you've opened an app and within a few minutes, sometimes seconds after you opened it, opening it again without knowing it because it didn't stick?
Or look at the time on your watch / phone / clock on the wall and then not remembering what time it was so that you have to look again?

Well... I have this every day, multiple times... Very annoying and time consuming. Ooo the irony! At that moment I know I need new energy like a day off or even better: Vacation!

@s3rg3 and I call it muscle memory and I think that is the official term too.

I've stopped reading / watching the news a year ago and got rid of accounts like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter since a few days. Just for a piece of mind and no more muscle memory!
I can tell you: I wish I have done it earlier! My phone battery is getting along for 2 days and it's giving a bit of peace in your, busy working life which is hectic with two kids.

Life is too short to worry about things you can't change or when you are waiting for a "Like"

Steemit is just a piece of mind for me at least and I think it's the next generation of social networking. Writing a story for people to read is nice but only when there is effort and interaction with the community.
Why is Facebook so popular? Because when you get a Like you are satisfied. For at least a few seconds... And Facebook has data and can sell it to 3rd parties. Time to take manners in our own hands!

Social networking and the way we see it is changing but how I'm not sure yet but it is here somewhere and maybe Steemit is just the beginning.
