Each week generally on Sunday Midnight GMT/BST, the Steem Sea site goes into Payment Maintenance Mode. In this mode we take a snapshot of everyones coin balance and how much STEEM DOLLAR has been sent to us for WATER coins. Once we have a log of everyones WATER coins, we reset WATER coin count to 0. The site goes out of Payment Maintenance Mode and you are able to promote your posts and find great posts again. On Monday generally we calculate total in with STEEM DOLLAR and everyones WATER coin balance and half of the STEEM DOLLAR balance built up during the week, minus post and curation awards we give back proportional to how many WATER coins you built up over the week!
