@steemcreations is a project that aims to ensure Free artwork and photography, that Steemians could use for their blogs or whatever else they might need it for.
While providing Free to use content @steemcreations aims to fully support it's members who put in the work for producing content and offer it to the community. May it be through upvotes, resteems or just chatting on discord, solving issues and brainsorming @steemcreations will always be here to help you out.
The Vision
Would you rather use Steemit generated artwork or face a copyright charge for using an image you didn't know was protected?
Most Steemians use images or digital, me too, but sometimes, finding them can be really difficult. Especially if you are searching for Free to use ones. The idea for @steemcreations is a place for free to use digital artwork/photography - For Steemians by Steemians. A place where you can find Free artwork and show your gratitude by supporting the artist.
Wouldn't that be much nicer than having to deal with possible legal issues?
A perfect ecosystem of content providers and consumers. A closed chain of support that benefits everyone while harming no-one. Wouldn't that be nice?
It would be a true utopian-like system if it catches on, but since the beginning, it's proven to be much harder than expected to get the needed exposure and make people want to contribute. So difficult, that at times I thought of quitting but decided to push through, continue and put in the effort needed to make this successful.
Today is the day, I'm 100% ambitious and positive that together we can make this work. With my efforts and your support, @steemcreations will become a go-to place for Free artwork/photography.
The plan
- Focus on the project and put more time and effort into it
- Get more eyes on @steemcreations
- Find volunteers who will help spread the word about the project and scout talented artists that will appreciate @steemcreations mission and support it offers
- Introduce @steemcreations to @utopian-io and connect with devs and designers
- Incentivize contributing by offering better support through upvotes/exposure
- Organize contests on utopian to increase contributions and make a strong foundation of quality content
- Get a dedicated website for the project where Steemians could easily find what they are looking for
- Get some delegated SP to increase @steemcreations Upvote
I'll do my best and will strive to complete the list ASAP, and really get this going. With your help @steemcreations can become a thing!

Add content: If you got any digital content that you think would be useful and someone might want to use them for a post, just use the #steemcreations tag and you donated it to the Steemit community. In return, you will get rewarded with upvotes from @steemcreations and @runicar + exposure in form of re-steems (not every post can get a re-steem, a couple will be chosen daily)
Spread the word, raise awareness, re-steem
Invite to contribute or support, anyone that can help the project grow and go further
Donate/Delegate SP to increase @steemcreations Voting Power ( it will be used exclusively to reward contributers )
