Huawei officially fights Amazon Alex, Google Assistant and Apple Siri with its voice assistant.

For the first time, it develops a voice assistant that will be available outside of China, where Huawei already has a voice assistant. Called Xiaoyi, lives in his smartphone and his AI Cube smartphone but is reserved for the Chinese. Today, Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei, confirms CNBC's work on a new version or new version for use in other countries.

Overview of Huawei Mate 20 Pro
"We use ours in China, and in the future, we will have our outside of China," he said. "Initially, we used Google Assistant and Amazon Alex [for AI cube and smartphones] ... We need more time to develop our artificial intelligence services."

He added, "Later, we will extend this beyond China."

Huawei will continue to work with Amazon and Google, he explained. So, to make it clear, it depends on third-party voice assistants.

Huawei Mate 20 Lite Review
If we were honest, we suspect that Huawei will be able to win a part of the voice assisting market in the United States. Even Bixby of Samsung, who is trying to compete against Alex and Google's assistant, was criticized. If Samsung is struggling to make progress in the US, we can not see how Huawei works much better.
