Before we start, I need to get this out of the way first! My initial intention was to share some of the wealth that was given to me for a comment I made (courtesy of @neoxian and @kingscrown), but fastforward to today, where I have collected my payout for the big one. Supposed $100 comment ended up being worth waaaaayyy less. 50% seems kinda shitty now...
I won't pretend to understand what caused it, so let's not go there. Anyway, I think I'll just giveaway 100% of the comment rewards at this point.
I'll be on the move for the next 2 days so I'll send the $$ whenever I can. I just made this post so you guys know I didn't bail on you.
So here's what I'm going to do. Instead of 10 STEEM to 3 people, I will send 5 SBD to the winners, and 2 SBD to all others who participated (or left a nice comment). This adds up to be a bit more than what I earned for the comment, but I'm changing things up a little so the reward is shared amongst everyone instead of just 3 guys.

Consolation prize for the other doods
Recently a lot of minnows have been losing motivation because of the decreasing payouts, etc. Maybe this small gesture will provide you guys with encouragement to keep going!
The Steemit community can only grow if we're supportive of each other. We want to attract new users while retaining the current userbase. This will be hard to accomplish if everyone on Steemit is too busy looking out only for themselves. I don't want to elaborate too much here, so I'll probably do a post on it when I have time.
Sooo I'm sending 2 SBD to everyone else who took part in the giveaway (or left a nice comment). I know it's not a big amount, but hey, I'm just a minnow like you guys. It's enough for a coffee or even a meal in some countries, so don't complain!
