I'm writing to check in and see if anyone has any knowledge of the current Steem.cards (@steemgiftcards) situation. This is their current website front page with a header saying that folks will be receiving refunds (it's looked like this for several weeks):
I want to start out with saying that numerous people I know have nothing but good things to say about the fellow behind Steem.cards, Ryan, aka @xtrodinary pilot. Apparently he's met some folks from Steem personally, and their good impressions of him go a long way.
For some reason though, he hasn't been replying to at least some messages about purchases that have yet to be refunded. I'm not sure why, but am guessing it is likely not with malintent. Maybe it’s an overwhelming situation and the funds are frozen. I am not assuming there’s anything shady happening yet.
However, I can say he hasn't replied to any messages of mine since 2/22 about a $250 USD gift card I purchased on 2/15 with SBD.

So, am curious if anyone has any information about what's going on, and if he has gotten back to you. I find it weird that he isn't responding to any messages of mine, and from what I can see on comments on his last personal post, am not the only one.
Overall, I am more concerned about the situation that they are facing with payment processing issues (apparently) than this one refund. It's potentially a bigger issue for crypto if Amazon and Visa are taking issues with crypto businesses.
Anyone have any ideas on what's going on?
