So today, I just wanted to share a quick message with you all, especially to the minnows. I know it can be extremely tough starting out at first. I know all too well the discouragement of working hours on a post and pouring your heart and soul into it, and then it only earning $0.03, if you're lucky. But I just wanted to tell each and every one of you that your efforts are certainly not for nothing.
At the end of the day, no matter how much your posts make, you become a little better at writing every single time you hit the Submit a Story button. Here's the thing about life: if everything were easy and just handed to us, none of us would have any skills; we'd be absolutely useless. Scraping your knees is how you learn to ride a bike, busting your nose is how you learn to catch a baseball, and writing posts over and over again is how you become a better Steemian.
