You have 2 ways for making video games.
The hard way
This way looks easier, because you gonna use a tool which makes you able to create games. I think about construct or similar. You won't code (at least not at beginning) but you are still creating your game. But what happen when you want to do something which isn't in the scope of that tool? Then it became harder. Either you have to change your plan, either you have to find over complicated hacks to achieve what you want and let me tell you it's not so different from coding. Time after time, the more features you add, the more you increase the technical debt, the harder it gets.
The tough way
This one will give you headaches and test your ability to keep motivation even when you fail, from the day you start.
That way will ask you more engagement, you gonna need to focus and to learn and guess what? You will love it. Because you will gain the power to speak to machines Neo. Learning to code is the way to freedom , no more vendor lock in and tools hacking.
You make the tool, you are the system. Progressing gonna be easier over time. You will feel great rewarding feeling by doing what you deeply want. That's why it's very hard to find a developer to work for you, most of us are already focused on our own projects.
Start the action
You don't need any school or any paid lessons to learn to code. But you gonna need a mentor, someone who will tell you what to learn. Mine was called Google and I must admit that it was a terrible one.
The library cannot be the librarian.
If you want to make the game of your dreams, learn to code.
It's the easiest and fastest solution in a long term perspective.

Well, now you learnt highly valuable skills, I let you update your profile on LinkedIn and sign up on different freelances websites. Just wait couple of days and start to work from where you want in the world (yes it's that easy).
