Every Bad YouTube Video Gets More Views Than The Average Post on Steemit

After some research I have found out what might be obvious to you. There are quite a lot of people whose quality posts almost never get seen, and it's kinda sad because the content is of high quality.

The problem lies in the way people find or search for blog post.

Barely anyone is clicking on the magnifying glas symbol to search for content the actually would like to see.
Most of us click on a tag that is easily accessible in terms of clicking on it, and then we scroll through the first page.
The second page is like the second page of google, you barely consider going there at all.

My suggestion is to remove the search icon and instead insert a search bar that one can type in his words instantly.

The current search results go like this:
At first you get google ads. After you scroll down a bit you get what you searched for: Search results for steemit.com.
(You don't need to type in the word "steemit" in the search bar to get results for Steemit.com)

Remove the ad results, add the search bar, remove the search icon that redirects you to another page before you can type in the terms you are looking for.

If you think this will help Steemit, upvote this post. It's in our all interest that people search for older blog posts, and not just the recent, hot, or trending ones.
